Has Anyone Seen This Movie?

When I was little I watched what I believe to be an independent film on Bravo(back when Bravo played cool movies). It involved a young girl who received a notebook from her mother and started drawing in it everyday. She drew a house with a boy sitting in the window, her estranged father, a tree.When she'd fall asleep she'd have dreams about what she drew. These dreams became so real, she thought her life might be in danger when her father came after her with what I remember to be an axe. She had to burn the notebook. Does anyone remember this movie? I thought it was called The Notebook or The Notepad, but since The Notebook came out, it's been hard to find any info that isn't about that sappy movie.
