2000 Mazda Protege chugs when accelerating or going up hills. I have tried injector cleaners, no luck! Ideas?

I spent 12 years in a Mazda dealership. Spark plug wires arcing against the cylinder head is very common on this model. If this is the case you need a new set of spark plug wires.
