Crashed my car. What should I do?

I was driving home from my friends house, a car pulled out in front of me so I swerved and hit the curb and crashed my car. I then started it back up and drove it to the gas station. I called my friend to come pick me up, when we got top the gas station the car was gone. I freaked out and told my mom that the car was stolen. My mom called the police and told them that the car was stolen. The police told my mom that the car was towed away from the gas station. It looks like we filed a false report. I don't know what to do. What should I do? I hope that there is someone out there who knows what should I do.
