How do South Africans react to the endless and barbaric violence reported on their news media?

This morning I was standing in a room with a bunch of people and we watched the early morning news as usual. I was the only South African in the room, but I cannot repeat the words these people uttered when they saw the view of burning people on the screen. This is opening peoples eyes to the situation in South Africa in a way, better than any rightwing website can ever dream of doing.
