Is ECNR stamp required for Maldives on Tourist Visa?

Can some one confirm if I need an ECNR stamp on the pport if if travelling to Maldives on a tourist visa? Based on information in http://www.immigrationindia.nic.in/ecnr-ecr-poe2.htm my understanding is "Not required", but it will be great if someone can confirm if my understanding is correct.
