HELP: Suggestions with novel!!!?

Not a typewriter - you'd spend oodles of time correcting typos with white-out. Get a used laptop and stretch out on your couch. 40 gig is much more than you need. You'd be fine with as little as 512 meg storage if you're just using it for writing. In other words, don't let storage impress your buying decision. However, you'll want a current version of Word (2003 or 2007) for when you want to upload it to someone.
