Roman Numerals Help Please?

Jim's answer is great. It can't be 1761, though, as that doesn't take into account the difference between auc and gregorian calendars. I'm pretty sure it's Saturday, June 28th, 2008. Not sure about the first one. Obviously if it's auc then it's 79 a.d. in gregorian. hmmmm.
